Lake Fork Guide Lance Vick's Satified Customers

	Big Thanks! Hi Lance, If you remember, you took Chad and I out last Monday afternoon. You showed us Glave, Longbranch and Rogers areas and gave us some tips on baits and presentations. Although we didn't catch many fish, your expertise helped put us on fish during a tough week of fishing by most accounts. We didn't catch numbers of fish, I did catch some really nice fish. Thursday I caught 2 fish over 7 lbs in Longbranch. Today, I caught an 8.4 lb and a 10.2 lb in Rogers. I know those are places I would have never found or fished without your guidance. All 4 of those fish are bigger than my previous personal best largemouth bass. Thank you so much for you help in making this a trip I will never forget! Ron
	Lance, I wanted to say thanks again. We had a great trip and I couldn't have asked for anything to go better. Well, maybe, if I would have caught a bigger fish than my dad but I am glad that he caught the big fish. Thanks for also sharing the tips that you did with us. 	Lance, I’d like to thank you again for a great day of fishing on Lake Fork. Sept 7, 2008 will be a day I’ll remember for a very long time. Having experienced a disappointing ½ day guided fishing trip in Florida last month, I was a little fearful that I’d have the same kind of luck on Lake Fork. The morning was pretty slow with only about 4 or 5 fish in the boat by lunch time. I elected to continue with the full-day of fishing in hopes of catching more, but with the fear that we’d just be wasting time. We didn’t waste time. You’re experience and knowledge of Lake Fork, along with top notch equipment, paid off well with at least 25 bass in the boat by the end of the day. I have photo evidence of 23 fish, and there were at least 3 fish you threw back before I could get my camera out, and two others that jump off just as you reached for them. Not a bad day for a me given that I’ve had a fishing pole in his hands twice in 20+ years. You can count on my business each and every time I’m in the Lake Fork area. Heck! 	Dear Lance, Thanks for the awesome fishing experience you provided for my husband, kids, and I. We had a great time. The boys can't stop talking about all the fish they caught. My oldest son is now hooked on fishing after catching the 7.30 lb. black bass along with the 7.05 lb. black bass and the other 9 bass he put in the boat. 	Lance, I was talking with my fishing buddy today about the trip we took in June with you, and realized that I never sat down and wrote a customer comment. I apologize, as we were both very satisfied with the trip. I would strongly recommend your services to anyone looking for a guide on fork. After fishing the whole day Saturday, we had landed some decent fish, several in the five pound range, but had boated nothing big (I lost one about 8 pounds at the boat). Both of us were already happy with the result, as it was a horrible day for fishing with a hot sun, few clouds, and high winds. However, Lance chose to stay out until almost dark trying to put us on the fish we went to fork after. Finally at a little after six, Eric hooked into a huge bass that Lance helped land. The picture is on the page, and is the one with the two guys with backwards hats and sunglasses. This fish truly made the trip perfect, and we are appreciative for the extra effort and time spent by Lance to make sure that we were more than pleased with the result. 	Lance, I wanted to express our appreciation to you for the fishing trip on Wednesday, June 9, 2004. Hunter (or Catfish Hunter) and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the fellowship. As you learned, my 15 year old nephew is a huge catfish fisherman and after his experience bass fishing he might be making a change. It's amazing how much Hunter learned from you and he talked about it on the way home to Greenville. I hope you learned some techniques he shared with you concerning catching catfish. I would have to say Hunter has some interesting techniques. Hunter has a better understanding of the management program Lake Fork has in place, and he can appreciate it more having caught some big bass. You have broaden his skills on the different baits and techniques to use to produce a catch. We realize the fishing conditions was not ideal, but your experience, knowledge and determination to satisfy us enable us to have a great time and achieve outstanding results. Too many times I've been with a guide and they would give-up or make-up an excuse to quit because the conditions were not favorable. On Wednesday, that was the only day I had to spend with "Catfish Hunter" and we had great time. He's still talking about that double-burger he had for lunch. It's times like this that Hunter and I will always remember. The 10 hour trip seemed like a few hours. Thanks for all the tips and patience. I found out that if I'm going to keep-up with Hunter, I'll need to practice a little on my casting. Finally, I now have that trophy picture to put in my game room. ..............	DEAR LANCE, I JUST WANT TO TAKE TIME OUT TO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OUR FISHING TRIP WITH YOU ON BEAUTIFUL LAKE FORK. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED WITH OUR ENTIRE TRIP THAT I HAD TO LET YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERS KNOW HOW MUCH WE ENJOYED OURSELVES. AS YOU KNOW WE STAYED AT THE LAKE FORK MARINA WHICH PROVIDED US WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, WITHOUT EVER LEAVING THE GROUNDS. WE CAME A DAY BEFORE OUR SCHEDULED FISHING TRIP TO CHECK THINGS OUT AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT WAS FIRST CLASS, INCLUDING ANYTHING YOU WOULD WANT TO EAT, WITH HOMEMADE PIES FOR DESSERT. THE GROUNDS OF THE MARINA WERE BEAUTIFUL, WITH CAMPING AND LODGING AREAS AND LOTS OF BOAT LAUNCHING SPACE. THE STORE AT THE MARINA WAS FASCINATING. IT INCLUDED A WIDE VARIETY OF ANY FISHING TACKLE YOU WOULD EVER NEED FOR YOUR TRIP ON LAKE FORK. I ALSO WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FISH TANK WHICH CONTAINED THE LARGEST BASS IN CAPTIVITY CAUGHT AT LAKE FORK, WHICH NOW WEIGHS 18.6 LBS. THAT WAS A REAL HOG THAT I ENJOYED SEEING SWIM AROUND THAT TANK WITH BAIT FISH. I ALSO WAS ABLE TO VIEW A BEAUTIFUL REPLICA OF THE TEXAS STATE RECORD BASS CAUGHT AT LAKE FORK 18.18 LBS. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS FISH TO BELIEVE IT, WHAT A MONSTER. ONCE WE GOT ON THE WATER WITH LANCE WE WERE TAUGHT TECHIGNIQUE AND WHERE TO CAST OUR BAITS. LANCE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT WITH US AT ALL TIMES. THE FISHING DURING THE HOT DAY WAS SLOW BUT OUR COMPLETE TRIP CONSISTED OF 19 FISH WEIGHING BETWEEN 7 LBS. AND 4 LBS. THIS WAS MY FIRST TRIP WITH LANCE AND MY FIRST TIME EVER TO BE ON LAKE FORK. I DEFINITELY PLAN TO RETURN VERY SOON TO FISH WITH LANCE AND MAYBE CATCH A HOG. Dear Lance,
I would like to take this time once again to thank you for an outstanding time we had fishing with you again. This time it was incredible, which is an under statement. You have creatively proved that no matter what the circumstance of Bass behavior, you still managed to get bit and get them in the boat.

You also shared with us your knowledge of Lake Fork and the techniques it takes to fish it. Let it be difinitly known that heavy gear is required to be successful on this lake as well as the confidence, perseverance and ability.

Further Lance, with all your experience that you have acquired over the years that I have known you, you certainly deserve to be a Bassmasters Pro and I know that in the very near future you will be. It's an honor for both David and me to know we fished with a Pro and will again.

Last, learning to pitch and flip was even more a thrill as well as seeing my partner learning from an experienced individual as you. But most of all Lance, I never really understood that well about catch and release, for some people believe that what they catch they keep, which is, in some cases a part of fish management, but the self satisfaction I got with such a great creature, that gave us the thrill of battle to stay free, stayed free, that I am proud of.

To all those who have never fished Lake Fork and plan to, get ready for the most invigorating experience in bass fishing that you will ever come to know. For Lake Fork and Lance Vick will see to that.

We can't believe it has been three years since we started
fishing with you at Lake Fork.

When we first booked a trip with you three springs ago, we were both just beginning to get serious about bass fishing. And now, a few years later, after having spent a lot of time on the water, and a lot of time learning about fishing from you, we are now both much better fishermen. We both know that the fishing conditions on Lake Fork change all the time, and we know how beneficial it is to have a guide like you who stays on top of the fish and the patterns. We have always caught more fish, and bigger fish, with you than we ever have on our own at Lake Fork. In fact, some of the biggest fish each of us has ever caught have been on trips with you. And even on a few of our trips out when the fishing was tough, we have always had a lot of fun spending the day with you, whether we caught a lot of fish or not. clients that you took fishing really enjoyed themselves. Each and every one of them still
